Tourist Digest: April in Paris
For this April edition of Tourist Digest, we have selected a few spots.

ANOTHER WAY TO EXPERIENCE PARIS
Spring is gently settling in Paris. Terraces are filling up, markets are regaining their vibrancy, and long strolls once again stretch into the late afternoon. For this April edition of Touriste Digest, we've selected a few places and activities to discover just a stone's throw from our hotels: coffee in the sun, a fashion exhibition, a picnic, or an evening at the Opera. Another way to experience Paris, neighborhood by neighborhood.
Coffee in the sun at Ten Belles, by the Canal Saint-Martin
Just a few minutes from Hôtel Château d’Eau, Ten Belles remains one of our favorite spots in the neighborhood. We go there for a perfectly prepared coffee, a still-warm brioche, and a few minutes in the sun before strolling along the Canal Saint-Martin.

An Evening at Opéra Garnier
From Hôtel Panache, Palais Garnier is just a few metro stops away. Ballet, opera, or a simple visit: the venue remains one of Paris's most beautiful settings, especially in spring when the Grands Boulevards regain their late-day glow. We love to extend the evening in the neighborhood, amidst covered passages, lively cafes, and strolls through the streets of the 9th arrondissement.

Discover the Dior exhibition by Azzedine Alaïa
Just a stone's throw from Hôtel de La Boétie, the Galerie Dior presents an exhibition exploring the connections between Christian Dior and Azzedine Alaïa. Sculptural silhouettes, archives, and iconic pieces: a beautiful fashion and creation interlude in the heart of the 8th arrondissement, ideal for a Parisian afternoon among galleries and grand avenues.

Stroll down Rue des Martyrs and assemble the perfect picnic
From Hôtel Bienvenue, head to Rue des Martyrs to fill your basket with seasonal produce: asparagus, strawberries, still-warm bread, and fresh flowers. One of our favorite spring activities: putting together an impromptu picnic before settling down for a few hours in the sun in a Parisian park.

Picnic at Parc Georges-Brassens
Near Hôtel Beauregard, we recommend a stroll on Île aux Cygnes before heading to Parc Georges-Brassens for a picnic in the sun. The neighborhood takes on a calmer pace in spring, away from the tourist hustle, with its markets, discreet terraces, and wide tree-lined avenues.

Oysters and aperitif at Deux Gares EXPRESS
At Hôtel Les Deux Gares, long April evenings often begin with a platter of oysters and a shared drink on the terrace. Between Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est, the neighborhood completely transforms with the return of warmer days: livelier, more vibrant, almost Mediterranean on some evenings.
